C2SM Python Courses 2020

In 2020, C2SM in collaboration with Scientific IT Services of ETH is organising two python courses for C2SM community members:

a one day introductory workshop. This course introduces the Python programming language to students and researchers already having basic programming skills in another programming language. Dates: mornings of 1 & 2 October, 30 places. Link to the course page.
a two-day workshop to introduce interested researchers of the C2SM community to visualisation in the Python programming language. Dates: mornings of 20-23 October 2020, 30 places. Link to the course page.

Both courses will take place online with zoom, and we will provide a Python programming environment accessible with a web browser.

We recommend community members with no or very little experience in python programming who would like to learn about visualisation in python to register for the introductory course first. Of course, it is possible to register for either course individually.

Note that these courses are given exclusively for C2SM community members (staff from professorships and groups within C2SM, as well as professors and group heads themselves).

Registration is now open. Applicants are selected on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration is open until courses are filled.
