Research area

I am interested in feedbacks between different components of the climate system. I run climate models and use climate model output for my analysis in combination with observational data. In the past, I investigated effects from land use change, soil moisture and vegetation phenology on climate and extreme events. At the moment I focus on model evaluation, how physical processes are represented in global climate models and alternative ways of dealing with multi-model ensembles.
