Research area

I'm a member of the Climate Physics group at IAC. I'm responsible for porting and running the CESM climate model, maintaining locally installed scientific software and acquiring climate data (e.g. CMIP5, CORDEX).

IT-related

  • I'm the head of IT at IAC
  • I'm responsible for Linux, Storage, Web/Wiki/Versioning and IT Security
  • I'm taking part in the openSUSE community
  • I'm a developer of Scientific Linux a RedHat based Linux distribution
