Weather and climate data freely available
As part of the Open Government Data (OGD) initiative, the Swiss Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology MeteoSwiss is making meteorological and climatological data available to all interested parties free of charge from May 2025.
MeteoSwiss will release new datasets gradually on publicly accessible data platforms during 2025. The data are being made available on various platforms, but the external page MeteoSwiss's OGD web page serves as a central gateway to all OGD-related weather and climate data. It provides a direct link to the other relevant Swiss federal government platforms.
