The C2SM April 2019 Newsletter has been published. In this edition, we report from the Steering Committee, our global and regional modelling activities and SciViz Service, as well as organised and upcoming workshops. In addition, we present news from the C2SM groups, MeteoSwiss, Empa, and WSL, and publish PhD defenses, as well as events of interest. In addition, five recent publications from the community are highlighted.
